Seated Leg Press
Press a machine footplate away while your back remains supported.
What you need
A seated leg-press machine with an adjustable seat and footplate.
How to do it
Set the seat so your back and hips rest against the pad with feet flat on the plate.
Press through your feet to extend your legs without snapping your knees straight.
Pause with your heels still on the plate.
Bend your knees slowly to return without letting your hips roll off the seat.
Keep in mind
- Keep your entire foot supported.
- Stop the return before your thighs crowd your torso or your back rounds.
